Our project is part of the special initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) „ONEWORLD – No Hunger – Green Innovation Centres for the agriculture and food sector”“. The program has been established in Africa and India with the objective of sustainably raising the income of smallholders, fostering employment and ensuring food security through scaling up innovations and disseminating knowledge in rural areas. The Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is implementing the project by order of the BMZ. GIZ is also our contractual partner. All the activities will be developed and carried out in close cooperation with the Green Innovation Centre of the GIZ on the spot in Kisumu, Kenya and local partners.
